Our North American protein business has a diverse 28,000-member team and operates approximately 60 protein primary and further processing facilities, distribution centers, feed mills, hatcheries, and an innovation center in the U.S. and Canada. Our newest facility is a 200,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art fresh protein slicing & packaging facility in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. The North Kingstown facility will process beef, ground beef, pork and value-added meats and account for more than $120 million of investment in the state.
